Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (which you give when you submit an enquiry through our contact form), the performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating and improving our services.
Clinical Partner & Data Sharing
TRT South operates in clinical partnership with Arc TRT (https://arctrt.co.uk). When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, request a consultation or otherwise share your personal details with us, those details are forwarded to Arc TRT, who provide the consultation, prescription, blood-test arrangements and ongoing clinical care under their own GMC-registered and CQC-regulated services.
By submitting an enquiry to TRT South, you consent to your personal details (name, contact information, the service you are interested in and any health information you choose to share) being transferred to Arc TRT for the purpose of providing your consultation and treatment. Arc TRT will then process your data under its own privacy policy, which you can read on the Arc TRT website.
We do not sell your personal data. We may also share information with other trusted third parties only where necessary — for example, laboratories processing blood tests, pharmacies dispensing medication and regulatory bodies as required by law. All third parties are required to handle your data in accordance with UK data protection legislation.
How to Withdraw Consent or Stop the Referral
If you change your mind after submitting an enquiry, you can withdraw your consent and ask us to stop the referral to Arc TRT (or request deletion of your details) by emailing info@trtsouth.co.uk. We will action your request without undue delay, although it may be too late to recall information already passed to Arc TRT — in that case you will need to contact Arc TRT directly to exercise your rights against them.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. All medical records are stored securely in compliance with NHS and CQC standards.
Data Retention
We retain your medical records in accordance with NHS guidelines, which typically require retention for a minimum of 10 years after your last treatment. Non-medical data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected.
